Tiso Hike Jordan Expedition – March 2018

*New expedition announcement…. We are heading to the desert!

At the end of March 2018, myself and two incredible female UK adventurers, Cal Major and Bex Band, will attempt to cross the Jordan desert.

The 200+KM crossing will start in Dana and finish in the Wadi Rum, passing through the famous archaeological park, Petra, on route. Our team will be completely self-supported, we will navigate via traditional Bedouin routes and wild camp each night covering distances of up to 34km a day. The expedition will take 12 days to complete.

We are three very different women. We come from different backgrounds, have different interests, yet there is one thing we have very much in common…adventure.

Cal Major is a stand-up paddle boarder, surfer, ocean lover, vet and founder of Paddle Against Plastic. She has stand up paddle boarded the entire Cornish coast and became the first woman to circumnavigate the Isle of Skye, solo.

Bex Band is an adventure blogger and founder of the women’s adventure community, Love Her Wild. Her expeditions include thru-hiking 1000km, kayaking the full width of the UK and sailing across the North Sea.

I am so excited to be joining Cal and Bex on the Tiso Hike Jordan Expedition this Spring, they are both incredibly inspiring women who I can’t wait to learn from. For me, swapping -40c for +40c is going to be a huge challenge, I definitely am a cold weather lover! However, I am going to relish everyday of this expedition, being completely self-sufficient for the two weeks will be hard but I can’t wait for the sense of freedom it will bring.

Once again, Tiso have supported this expedition. I couldn’t wish for a better sponsor! Always and wholeheartedly supporting Women in Adventure.

We will be sharing exclusive content and footage of this epic journey across Jordan on our social media channels Keep up to date by following us on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter using the hashtag #tisohikejordan
